Are you fed up of having to START AGAIN? Why don't you just NOT STOP this time?

Are you fed up of having to START AGAIN? Why don't you just NOT STOP this time?

How many times have you started a 'diet', an exercise programme, a routine just to slip into your olld habits after a few days/weeks?

It's common, very common in fact.

The reasons why this happens are usually the same as well....

Do any of these sound familiar: Lack of time, not enough money? lack of energy, fear on injury, difficulties of travelling?

There are solutions to ALL of these 'barriers'. I know of single moms those work full time that still manage it, those on minimum wage that manage it, those who travel 15 miles to train, those with chronic fatigue. Examples of how people have overcome ALL these barriers.

Let me tell you of some real life examples of people from my NL FitnessCamps and how they overcame their 'barriers' to starting and kept it going:

1) Lack of Time

“Yesterday is gone. Tomorrow has not yet come. We have only today. Let us begin.”
― Mother Teresa

DO YOU HAVE 2.25 HOURS A WEEK?

Many people say they haven’t got enough time to exercise, or they have tried to put in the time and don’t get the results they want within their time frame. Others simply spend a lot of time doing ineffective forms of exercise.

At NL FitnessCamps we guarantee results from just 3x45 minute sessions a week. That’s 2 1/4 hours- probably less time than you spend exercising at the moment. The sessions are designed to increase your metabolic rate to help strip your body of fat, promote lean tissue and massively increase your energy levels.

Our client Mario has his own business and he simply didn’t have time to train every day as he thought he should. He’s managed to get these results from our camp simply by making the three sessions. The truth is not everyone has much time free. However you don’t need to smash it on a treadmill for hours on end to get where you want- in fact contrary to popular belief doing that is unlikely to work.

There are hot showers and good changing facilities for our morning sessions and so you can go straight to work afterwards.  You will also find after a while that it’s not so hard to get up early!

2) Money

WHAT IS IT WORTH?

Imagine this:

You have a new car and you can’t have another for twenty years.  What do you do? Obviously you are going to look after it attentively to prevent it giving trouble, breaking down and completely wearing out. You’ll be so keen to make it last and avoid being without one that you will go to great lengths to keep it looking good.

Now remember that you have one body.  It has to last a lot longer than a car.  You want it to last at least 70, 80 or 90 years, perhaps longer, and to avoid illness, fatigue and disabilities in your old age what do you do? Hopefully you’re going to look after it.

The question isn’t “I don’t have enough”.  It’s “how much do I want to feel and look fantastic”

If you feel and look fantastic you’ll feel you’ve spent your money well. We’re like the Ronseal adverts- “it does what it says on the tin”. Come to NL FitnessCamps to lose weight and you will, guaranteed.

If you’re willing to forgo a round of drinks a week you can get seriously toned, have loads of energy and feel amazing. If you don’t we’ll give you your money back.

  • Do you want to lose weight?
  • Do you want to get toned for once?
  • Do you want to feel sexy again?
  • Do you want more energy?

These are all common questions, how much do you want it?

This camp is not for the faint hearted, this doesn’t mean you’ll get ‘beasted’ all the time but it will require a desire to succeed. That’s where we help- the coaches, the guidance and your campers.

3) Lack of energy

What feels like a lack of energy is often actually mental fatigue. After just one week of our camps your energy levels will soar.  You will find everyday life much more fulfilling. You will enjoy your time with your family and friends more. Our client Matthew found the first session or two hard and then his energy levels drastically increased. He has a hard manual job and proudly says camp has increased his energy and productivity at work!

4) Unathletic/ never exercised/left it too long

Many people are concerned that they can’t possibly go to a group session as they have never exercised before or they are concerned that everyone will be fitter than them. You won’t have to worry about this.

Take our client John for example. He never enjoyed exercise at school in the 1950 and 60’s. As a result he was put off exercising for the best part of 40 years! Since training with NL Wellness and being a part of NL FitnessCamps at 65 years of age he is in the best physical condition he has ever been in, and often performs as well as those less than half his age. To his initial surprise he has enjoyed the sessions too.  He said  “I felt massively encouraged by Nye and the others”.

You need not worry that you will not be able to do the exercises.  Our trainers are experienced at helping you set goals that are at the right level for you and that will help you progress. No matter what your current fitness or experience level may be, you will be made to feel welcome and be able to take things at a pace you’re comfortable with. We’ve had people who could barely run at first. Within just a few weeks they have gone on to do several 5k charity runs and more .

Whatever age you are, with regular exercise your muscles and nervous system will strengthen, your figure and fitness will improve and you will feel like a new person.

5) Injury/fear of

“Surgery? What Surgery?”

Many people are scared of being injured. Perhaps they have been injured in the past. As highly qualified exercise specialists we are trained to work around injuries and where needed to help with rehabilitation.

We actually managed to prevent our client David from needing double knee surgery.

He was booked in for an operation on both knees and yet after doing NL FitnessCamps and having some private support from NL Wellness he no longer needed it and was delighted when he could ring the hospital and cancel it!

Our experienced trainers will usually be able to make specialist adjustments to your programme to suit your strengths and weaknesses.

If you are worried about an injury please feel free to ask for a free taster session or even just come and watch.

6) Children

Having children will certainly affect the time you can train. However it is almost always still possible.

It’s a time of life which is challenging but it’s also a time when the benefits which we can provide will be particularly helpful and enhance the quality of life for you. You will find that you will have more energy to spend more quality time with your friends and family!

Not much time is required to do the sessions at NL FitnessCamps, (just 2 ¼ hours a week in fact)

7) Difficulties of travelling

Many people think that they live too far away. Mario has been with us for several months and he travels 16 miles each way every time he comes to our sessions. When you start seeing the results you will get with us and realising how enjoyable the sessions can be you will think the journey is worth it.

8) Students

We have had several students at camp and they all managed to find a way to get there. Some have driven or come via car with their friends.  Others have cycled to camp, or got a bus right to us.  It’s on several bus routes. They have enjoyed it and the results we’ve had are fantastic.

One of our student clients Alex now helps train his friends and teammates. He managed to balance university lifestyle with getting into the best shape of his life with us.

Here are some of the results we have achieved:

James had struggled to lose weight for years in gyms. He came to a taster session at NL FitnessCamps and fell in love with it.

His positive approach and dedication has meant that he has lost over 10kgdropped two clothes sizes and managed to get a huge personal best in the 125 mile Devizes to Westminster Canoe marathon (the longest canoe race in the world).

Since school I fluctuated between being slim and being a bit chunky. But since my knee operation 4 years ago when I could not walk for a good 3 months I was unable to shift the excess fat I wanted to. However I was active (kayaking, walking, swimming etc) and perceived myself as a fit chunkier person. After meeting Nye through a friend and being impressed by his enthusiasm I thought I’d give his fitness classes a go. Nye is not like any other trainer/coach I know. He has a real passion and zest or helping people. He is constantly inspirational and motivating, without exception, everytime you meet, for whatever training you are doing with him. He always replies to any questions/queries about diet etc. I lost 10kg in less than 3 months attending Nye’s classes. My strength and endurance have also massively increased. So if you are serious about getting results and generally being healthier get up off your sofa and come to a free taster session! You have nothing to lose except a huge lump of fat that you are dragging round for no reason. If you don’t believe me take a look at my pictures. See you in ‘class’. James ‘Oatcake’ Rayner

Mario

Mario set off to lose some weight and over the last few months has now dropped over 10kglosing 4 inches off his waist and going from an XL to a L.

He saw a picture of himself fixing his car and decided enough was enough and booked on the same week. He has also quit smoking in the process.

Matthew

Matthew has smashed it these last few months and passed selection to start training as a Navy engineer officer nailing the fitness tests! Something he only managed to achieve with NL FitnessCamps. He's lost 6.5kg and dropped a clothing size in the process.

So there you have it, examples of how people have overcome their barriers, KEPT GOING and succeeded.

Don't stop, have a rest if needed but give your exercise programme or new lifestyle change a CHANCE. If you spent months/years getting out of shape don't expect it to takes days/weeks to get to your final goal!
